Our Privacy Policy applies to information collected or used when we offer products or services to you. In this policy, “Koine,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Koine Ventures Inc., doing business as Koine Cyber.

Information that we collect and may disclose

We collect only what you choose to send us. Koine does not sell products, hold accounts, or take payments through this website, so we do not ask for and have no reason to collect financial or government identifiers.

Specific examples of personal information that we collect and may disclose to the companies in our group and to certain service providers may include:

• What you enter in the contact form on our contact page: your name, your e-mail address, your company name, the city and state you give us, and the message you write. Only your name, e-mail address, and message are required.
• If you e-mail us directly, whatever that message and its headers contain.
• If you visit our website, koinecyber.com (the “website”), technical information collected automatically in our server logs and through “cookies” (both explained below).

A copy of every contact-form submission is stored on this website, in addition to being e-mailed to us, so that an inquiry is not lost if mail delivery fails. Access to those records is limited to accounts that administer this website.

We route your message to whichever company in the group is best placed to help, which means sharing what you sent us with that company so it can reply to you. That is the purpose of the form, and it is the main disclosure to expect.

How we use your information

Koine and third-party service providers may work together to provide a variety of services, and they may need to share personally identifiable information received from you to maintain an efficient and effective level of service.

Koine does not share, sell, or rent personally identifiable information with outside marketers.

How we protect your information

However, Koine cannot and does not guarantee that unauthorized, inadvertent disclosure never may occur.

Disposal of business records

Koine disposes of all business records containing personally identifiable information in accordance with applicable state and federal laws.

Contact-form submissions and the correspondence that follows them are kept while we are working on your inquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards as a record of the conversation, then disposed of. You can ask us to delete yours sooner, at any time, using the address in “How to reach us” below.

Communications from Koine

Based upon any personally identifiable information you may provide to us, we may occasionally send you some or all of the following promotional communications:

• Information on products, services, special deals, and promotions.
• Koine newsletters.

Out of respect for your privacy, we provide you a way to unsubscribe from these communications. Please see the “Choice and opt-out” section.

In addition, however, based upon any personally identifiable information we receive from you as a result of an account you create or products or services you request from us, we also may occasionally send you some or all of the following:

Generally, you may not opt out of these communications, which are not promotional in nature and are sent because you contacted us. If you would rather we stopped, tell us and we will stop, and you may ask us to delete what you sent.

Log files
